Describe the biggest commitment you have ever made. Why is this commitment meaningful to you and what actions have you taken to support it?

Describe the most significant challenge you have faced. How have you confronted this challenge and how has it shaped you as a person?
Briefly describe your career interests and how you arrived at them. What have you already done to pursue these interests? What do you need to do going forward?
After you submit your application and pay the fee, you respond to two previously recorded questions asked by admissions team members, with 60 seconds to deliver each response. A practice tool is available; Yale says responses are used with a light touch.
An online exercise administered by ETS, completed after submission alongside the video questions: about 25 minutes of paired statements where you select the behavior that best aligns with you, measuring interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies.
Use this space only to clarify aspects of your application not addressed elsewhere. It is truly optional and is not an additional required essay.
