Effective July 17, 2026 · Version 2026-07-17
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information AdmitForge (“AdmitForge,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, apps, and tools (the “Service”). We have written it in plain language on purpose. Where a point affects your rights or your data, we say so directly.
This summary is here to orient you. The sections below are the full policy.
AdmitForge provides guidance tools for people applying to MBA and graduate business school programs. For privacy law that uses these terms, we are the “controller” (or “business”) responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers everyone who uses the Service, worldwide. If you use a free tool without an account, only the sections that apply to that tool apply to you.
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Email, name, password (stored only as a secure hash), plan and membership status | You, at signup |
| Content you create | Stories, essays and drafts, career goals, resume, recommender briefs, interview notes, brainstorm ideas | You, as you work |
| AI-action log | A record of which forge actions ran on which materials (this powers your AI-disclosure export) | Generated when you use a forge feature |
| Usage data | Counts of AI actions per day, used to apply fair-use limits | Generated as you use the Service |
| Payment information | Billing handled by our processor; we receive plan, status, and the last digits, never your full card number | Our payment processor (when paid plans launch) |
| Communications | Emails you send us, and support requests | You |
| Waitlist / free-tool email | An email you give us for a report or to hear from us during application season | You |
| Technical & analytics data | Device and browser type, pages visited, and product events, through privacy-respecting analytics | Automatically, as you browse |
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, race, or religion). Please do not put information you consider sensitive into free-text fields unless it is genuinely part of your application story.
We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the Service, including AI processing of the content you submit to a forge feature, and billing | Performance of a contract |
| Securing the Service, preventing abuse, applying fair-use limits, and understanding product usage in aggregate | Legitimate interests |
| Optional marketing and application-season email | Consent (withdrawable at any time) |
| Keeping records we are required to keep | Legal obligation |
If your content happens to include special-category information (for example, an essay that discusses health, religion, or ethnicity), we process it only to provide the coaching you asked for, on the basis of your explicit consent or because you have chosen to include it, and you can remove it at any time.
When you use a forge feature, the relevant part of your content is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the critique, outline, or questions you asked for. This happens under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit training on your data, and we keep the identifiers sent alongside your content to a minimum. AI output is guidance only: it can be wrong, it is never a guarantee of any outcome, and you are responsible for reviewing it and for following each school's AI-use and disclosure policies. We never use AI to write or submit an application for you.
The AI produces coaching feedback for you to consider; it does not make any automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. You stay in control of your application, and a human (you) decides what to write and submit.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to run the Service:
| Provider | Purpose | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and authentication hosting | United States |
| Anthropic | AI processing of content you submit to forge features (no training on your data) | United States |
| Vercel | Application hosting and content delivery | United States |
| Resend | Transactional and waitlist email delivery | United States |
| PostHog | Privacy-respecting product analytics (no advertising) | United States |
| Polar | Payments and merchant of record: checkout, invoicing, and sales-tax/VAT handling when paid plans launch | United States |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
We use reputable hosting and database providers, encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security so that your account's data is scoped to you. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can reach it. Keep your password private, and tell us at support@getadmitforge.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
We operate in the United States, and our service providers are located there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent UK protections.
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:
To exercise a right, use the export and delete controls in your settings, or email support@getadmitforge.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires (generally within 30 to 45 days), and we may need to verify your identity first. EU, EEA, and UK users also have the right to complain to their local data protection authority, though we hope you will contact us first so we can help.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We use privacy-respecting product analytics on our own pages to understand what is working. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not run ad-targeting cookies. Session recording and autocapture of your inputs are turned off.
The Service is for applicants who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the Service and the law evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the version and effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated policy.
